Five reasons why we love listening to Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s Qawwalis
Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan was a prominent Pakistani musician, primarily a singer of Qawwali—the devotional music of the Sufis. He is popularly known as “Shahenshah-e-Qawwali”, meaning “The King of Kings of Qawwali”. NFAK died on August 16, 1997 in London, United Kingdom.
Famour singer and qawwal Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is his nephew.

2- He has literature in each of his qawwali, and we absolutely love it. Nusrat Sahab used to compose his own lyrics, would add couplets from famous Sufi poets and would make a whole story out of his lyrics.

4- His qawwali touches one’s soul. His music is for ears and minds to seek a bridge to heaven. The real meaning & message they try to convey is that there’s no way that you won’t be mesmerized by it.
